Islandora DataCite DOI is a set of plugins for the DGI Actions module to support minting of DataCite DOI identifiers via Drupal Context Actions.

Requirements

This module requires the following modules/libraries:

Installation

Install as you would any other Drupal module.

Configuration

DGI Actions uses seveeral types of configuration entities that need to be set up. See the README.md file in that module for step-by-step instructions.

This module provides the DataCite DOI Service Data Type entity type. You will need to create an instance of this entity with your Datacite API credentials and DOI prefix. See the Datacite API guide for more info.

Usage

When DOIs are minted, they are set to "Findable" in DataCite, which makes them available in the DataCite search.
