What is Joomla Categories?

Joomla Categories is a category management extension for the Joomlatools Platform supporting a nested set approach.

Requirements

• PHP 7.0 or newer
• MySQL 5

Installation

Joomla Categories can and should be installed by using Composer.

Go to the root directory of your Joomla Platform installation using the command line and execute following command:

composer require joomlatools/platform-categories:2.*
