What is Joomla Legacy?

Joomla Legacy is a legacy library for the Joomlatools Platform which includes all the legacy classes that have been marked deprecated and are no longer used by the core.

Requirements

• PHP 7.0 or newer
• MySQL 5

Installation

Joomla Legacy can and should be installed by using Composer.

Go to the root directory of your Joomla Platform installation using the command line and execute following command:

composer require joomlatools/platform-legacy:2.*
