The OpenSnowcat / Snowplow Magento tracker extension enables your e-commerce store to track customer behavior using OpenSnowcat / Snowplow event pipelines.

OpenSnowcat is an open-source fork of the Snowplow platform designed for behavioral data collection, enabling businesses to gain deeper insights into user behavior across digital platforms.

You'll need to run an OpenSnowcat/Snowplow pipeline to use this extension. SnowcatCloud offers affordable cloud-hosted OpenSnowcat pipelines.

How Does The Extension Work?

This extension adds a Snowplow JS tracker to your storefront which tracks visitor behavior as they navigate through the site. To facilitate attribution and customer identification, this extension records the value of the sp cookie (network_userid) to the account, the cart, and the order (when created).

All orders are also tracked when created via server-side, using Snowplow PHP tracker.
