INTRODUCTION

The Document Entity module offers a solution that allows you to transform PDF and plain text file formats into two types of interconnected entities: Documents and Pages. This conversion enables a more structured administration of the content, facilitating the search, segmentation and precise manipulation of the information contained in the documents. In essence, the Document Entity module redefines content management by turning static files into dynamic, manageable entities.

REQUIREMENTS

This module requires the following modules:

• Entity API

And it requires the following external libraries:

• smalot/pdfparser

INSTALLATION

• Use composer to install this modules.
• Install the Document Entity module as you would normally install a contributed Drupal module. Visit https://www.drupal.org/node/1897420 for further information.

CONFIGURATION

1. Navigate to Administration > Extend and enable the module.
2. Navigate to Administration > Content > Documents
3. Here you can add, edit, and delete documents.
